COOKING NETTLES

Only one damp day and two of glorious sunshine during our Easter holiday Forest School; we studied and ate nettles, enjoyed all things leaves; finding them, drawing them, eating them. We also watched and listened to birds, studied their eggs, studied worms, hunted wild garlic, celebrated the old horse-chestnut, made dens and played.

We are looking forward to two more days of fun during half-term and then it's out of the old army tent and into a new shelter for the summer holidays..............watch this space! (see 'Holiday sessions' page for more details)
